The new release 1.30 of EagleNest is available.

What's new: Improved time performance.

The new release 1.10 of ShoeNest is available.

What's new:

• Added the ability to select a subset of pieces to be placed with different rotations according to the zone of the material.
• Added the ability to place predefined and optimized coupling of pieces.

The new release 1.3 of LuxuryNest is available.

What's new:

• Added the option to reprocess and fill all the existing layouts in the session before creating new layouts.
• Added an option to place each repetition of an article in the same vertical section of the material.

The new release 3.16 of Job Manager is available.

In this version:

• Nesting Group: it is possible to create and edit custom groups and save them in the "groups" subfolder in the shape library folder.
• Article Report: the article report has been improved adding for each shape a picture, the Article and Shape Size, the material code, the Divisor; longer shape names can fit better in the row. The new field Standard Cutting Duration has been added in the article summary.
• New Database Connection Wizard: The New Database Connection Wizard has been modified to allow the creation of a new connection for an SQL Database in any enterprise local network environment. Now it is possible to create the new connection in an existing network folder, not creating a new one. The complete path may be typed in the text box and not only selected from the browse for folder window: this allows choosing reachable paths using the IP format.
• Cutting Time Estimator: The Cutting Time Estimator feature has been improved by adding:
  • An internal estimator
  • The possibility to replace the internal estimator with an external estimator.
• The external estimator may be updated at any time, providing compatibility with Job Manager interface.
• Export Database (for end-user support): It is possible to export an SQL DB and all the associated files and folders as a .zip file. The feature is provided for support purposes only, i.e. the end-user can export the data base but cannot import it again. This feature is not a substitute of a regular backup of data and databases.
• Import Database (for end-user support): It is possible to import an SQL Database and all associated files and folders using the Import Database command. The Import Database may only be issued by String or Reseller support people using Reseller or Internal license types. This command is provided for support purposes only and it is not an alternative to regular backups of data.
• Localization: The Portuguese (Brazil) localization has been added.
• Material Management (sheets and roll): Now it is possible to add sheets and rolls as materials in stock. Batches can be created, containing rolls, sheets or file defined materials. For regular materials (i.e. sheets and rolls) it is possible to specify a quantity. Various improvements have been made to user experience creating material codes: the main properties may be inherited by child material codes without retyping them. A child material code may be of a different type from its parent, but controls have been added to avoid inconsistency. Now it is possible to export a batch with regular materials.

The new release 3.15 of Job Manager is available.

What's new:

• Creation a new connection: Creation of Job Manager SQL DB Connections has been improved, to cope with the requirements of a first-installation or a factory upgrade, single computer as well as complex and managed IT infrastructures. Now it is possible:
  • Creating a brand-new JM SQL DB connection if a SQL server is properly installed and available; the software will create the empty JM SQL DB, the empty folder and the connection.
  • Creating a new JM SQL DB connection starting form a previously created empty SQL database and folder.
  • Connecting an existing Job Manager SQL DB, useful when a new JM Client is installed upgrading an existing JM installation.
• Tools > Database Migration: An assisted procedure has been developed, to ease and speed-up the migration of an existing JM MDB into a new JM SQL DB. The procedure will copy all the data, including the files. At the end of a successful migration the end-user will have a new JM SQL DB connection containing the same information of the MDB one. Please note that the source database shall pass the Check Database Integrity Procedure: only error-free, self-consistent JM DBs can be migrated.
• Tools > Check Database: Graphic and functional changes have been made to the "Check Database" tool. Improved error fix. The user will have the opportunity to decide which errors to correct. All the Database integrity operations are logged individually, including successful checks; the logs can be found in "[databaseconnectionfolder]/CheckDb-Logs/[sub-folders]".
• Session Report: Barcodes have been added to session reports to identify the session, the order and all the layouts files produced.

What's new:

• Session summary: added cutting time estimates for sessions assigned to a cutting machine. The Cutting Time Estimator is available only for the supported Atom Cutting Machines.
• Added delete/move multiple jobs.
• New features in XML Order Import procedure:
  • Import article multi-sizes through the SHC file
  • Added the attribute "Sequence" for the "Shapes" elements, to define the order of the shapes.
  • Assign a session to a cutting machine
  • Added suggestions to fix errors in XML Order Import files

• Material Editing: you can move hides into a new batch, even if used in layouts.
• You can change the session status from waiting for materials to standby without opening the session using the Sessions List control.
• Some bugs fixed.

This new version of EagleNest allows the user to exploit the remainders of materials previously nested: in conjunction with the new features of Job Manager it is possible to save a layout as a remainder, if partially nested. Then, it can be used as material of a new session.

This new version of EagleNest supports nestings with odd number of layers, if they have the same orientation. Moreover it’s able to deal with nestings on sheets of given length: it optimizes the end of each sheet, exploiting in the best way possible the smaller targets.
