SoleNest is the nesting product designed to address the needs of leather sole manufacturers. SoleNest places soles matching the quality levels needed by the sole with the quality zones (or defects) defined on the leather.
Particular needs such as direction constraints or a cap to the number of different sizes on the same hide (to reduce the time for piece collection and sorting) are also supported.
SoleNest is able to use nesting schemes that avoid placing the fore parts of the sole in the belly, usually when lower-quality hides are not trimmed.
